Better Brakes and Performance Parts
We test and research the best aftermarket MINI parts that can be installed by any shade-tree mechanic with basic mechanical skills and the common sense to know the limits of what they can (and can't) do.
Specialty Tools, Garage Equipment, Oil & Fluids
The right tool makes all the difference. We have specialty tools to change the pulley on your MINI supercharger, specialty sockets, camber gauges, and much more.
Safety and Communication Equipment
Having the right safety equipment is key to going faster. We have helmets, harnesses, communicators, steering wheels, quick releases, competition seats, and much more.
While instructing at the track, one of the students started asking questions about our 2006 MINI Cooper S (R53) Track-car -- nothing unusual about that -- but at the end of our twenty minute conversation, he said something new: He said, "I'll take it." When asked to clarify, he said he wants to buy a package like this -- pulley, intake, suspension, sway-bar, seats, exhaust -- the whole thing. And just like that, SpecR53 was born. Motivated by the success of SpecE30 and SpecMiata, we thought there should be a "SpecMINI". Since the first generation Cooper S (R53) is the most tracked MINI, we thought it the perfect track platform, especially as the car is now fully depreciated.
So, all you sell are MINI parts?
We try to help our fellow track junkies where we can. We have access to constantly growing list of performance parts (especially brake pads) for the cars we see most often at HPDE events -- BMW M3s, Porsches, and Subarus. Just because it's not listed, doesn't mean we can't get it -- drop us a line. We are constantly adding to our catalog, so please bookmark the site and check back often.
